About Us

SixEight comes from Isaiah 6:8. AlsoI heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then said I, “Here am I. Send me.” “Send me” has become the battle cry of many veterans. With millions of dollars worth of training and the fortitude to make a difference, many have stepped up to help their communities and protect schools. “Send me” is my motto as well. While there is much Scripture we could rely on, this one has always stood out to me. As a Marine, I have volunteered for many things, but none has been as fullfilling as protecting a school. After much prayer and many discussions with my wife, I have decided to pursue firearm training.

One of my top goals has become training females. One of the most vulnerable and targeted segments of our population should be just as equipped and prepared to protect those around them and themselves. Our mission is to provide a comfortable setting and easy to understand classes for the most precious of our homes, our ladies. Eventually, we would like to add safety classes for kids. we will continue to add classes as demand drives it.

First and foremost, I am a Christian, American, United States Marine, husband, and a father. My worldview is a biblical one and my foundation is rooted in Christ. As we strive for a comfortable setting in our classrooms, those foundations and morals will be present. Foul language will not be heard from any employee or instructor at SixEight. We will maintain a family-friendly environment at all times. We understand that there are many instructors to choose from and that this may be a turn off for some. I can respect that and I would encourage you to find a class more suitable for you and your foundations.

My wife and I are excited to get to know and work with everyone attending our classes.

We are veteran owned and operated. I am a certified NRA pistol instructor and Texas LTC instructor.
